EN8 is a medium carbon steel grade with good tensile strength and excellent wear resistance. It is widely used in engineering applications where strength and toughness are required without the need for expensive alloying. EN8 can be supplied in hot rolled, cold drawn, or normalized condition and is suitable for heat treatment processes like hardening and tempering.

It is commonly supplied in the hot rolled or cold drawn condition and is suitable for general engineering applications requiring high strength and wear resistance. EN8 Round Bars are widely used in automotive, machinery, shafts, axles, gears, bolts, studs, and other stressed components.
